Letter from Archbishop John Hepworth, Primate of TAC
Dear faithful people of the Traditional Anglican Churc
Grace and peace be unto in the Name of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ as you celebrate the Victory of our Lord over death in His Resurrection.
Easter Day is the Queen of Feasts because everything we believe and do as Christians rests upon the sure foundation of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. As St Paul wrote, If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins (I Corinthians 15:17). But He has been raised, and the Church throughout the ages lives in the sure confidence of this, that a living Lord is with us, and comes to us as pilgrim people in His Body and Blood.
I give daily thanks to Almighty God for your faith and commitment to the faith once delivered to the saints, and I am honoured to serve as your Episcopal Visitor.
Rita and I extend our prayers and Easter greetings to you at this joyous time, and I look forward to being with you in a few weeks for the Synod in Lincoln.
With thanksgiving for our Lord’s resurrection, I am yours
Faithfully in Him,
+David L. Moyer
